With the XYGT came the release of a famous australian muscle car icon. The Phase Three. The XYGT's main style change over the XW was the addition of the shaker. There is probably little doubt that when the word GT is mentioned most peoples minds think of this model as their stereotypical view of what a GT is/looks like.
