WOLLOMBI - NSW & NEWCASTLE
Unfortunately due to a minor fire in my engine bay I was unable to take my GT along to this event. Instead I just took my family car along for the ride. We headed down the F3 to meet up with the NSW boys and take some pics at the meet point.
Left the meet point and headed back up the F3 and exited at Calga where we then started the scenic leg of the trip through some great scenery and past some historic convict structures.
Arriving at Wollombi to find the NSW club already there we all filed into the car park and started the process of meet and greets. I ordered lunch straight away today as I remember how long it takes them to cook the lunch. Spent most of my time there just moving around getting pics of the cars and chatting to people as I went so it was a slow process. Some people left and I missed them so sorry for that.
I did have a whinge at GT Geoff as I won the first raffle I entered with this club and have won nothing since. The word in the ear must have worked as we won third prize in the raffle. I think he is just trying to keep me interested.
Collected my bottle of Dr Jurds Jungle Juice and said our goodbye's and departed. Another great run to Wollombi.
