THIRROUL - NSW CLUB
This run was one of the runs I had penciled in as a must attend. The run over the new Sea Cliff bridge. Our day began with the alarm sounding at 5:30am to force us out of bed and on the road. The trip down at that time of the morning was uneventful so we arrived a little early to the first meeting point.

After a short time a couple of GT's arrived to join us ans it wasnt long before it was time to head off to the next meet point. A quick blast down the M5 then onto heathcote road took us to the secnd meeting point being Heathcote Railway Station.

Arriving at the railway station and joining the rest of the gang we didnt hang around long. A hudle was called and we all decided to head off in hot pursuit of Geoff who proclaimed he knew the way and volunteered his services as the leader.

As the above pic will attest, we were all lead up the garden path literally when Geoff took us all up this road that got narrower as we progressed along it to a point where we all stopped for a minute or so. Then coming back the other way who do we see, Geoff sheepishly sneaking past to lead us back in the right direction.

The rest of the run was uneventful and the bridge was great to drive over. Its shorter than it looks in the pictures and once you are on it you cant really see much over the side etc. The rest of the day was spent at Thirroul beach where at a guess, around 25 or so GT's filed a section of car park.
