Shannons Eastern Creek Classic
My first trip to this event and I was pleasantly surprised. I did not enter my car for this event and instead drove the family car down with a mission to take some good pictures.
I arrived about an hour after the start and immediately sought out the clubs location. I found them and had a chat to a few members before taking some pics. I eventually returned to sit with a club mate to keep an eye on the cars and was amazed by the amount of people who pay no attention to the roped off area that contained our cars and would just cut through taking a shortcut.
Our club got to complete a parade lap of the track and although I was offered a seat for the lap I figured I came to take pics so I would remain on the pit wall to try to fluke some pics of the cars going down main straight.
After this the cars started leaving in dribs and drabs so I wrapped up my photography, helped the club pack up and hit the road. I thought this event was quite good and will be entering my car next year.
