NEWCASTLE CONCOURSE DAY
My first concourse event with either of the two clubs I am involved with. I generally don't go in for all the judging of cars and what that entails as to me it isn't about what car is the absolute best restored or maintained. It is more about the fact they are still on the road and being enjoyed that counts. The cars that are maintained meticulously and have been cared for painstakingly over the years deserve the credit and concourse days are a great way of recognising cars that are top shelf.
The same as the last run the heavens threatened to open spoiling the day but other than a few showers once again the rain stayed away. In total I think there were around 30 club cars attend this event which was a great sight to see.
In keeping with me beliefs I paid my entry fee which enabled my car to be judged and then declined the judging of my car as that was not what I was there for. It was great to catch up with some of the club members I hadn't seen in a while. Once again the day was a great success and i'm sure I will be there again next year to enjoy the day again.
