Story - In my eyes the XW GT is the meanest
looker, yes I am biased, but the box car just has it. After owning an XA GT,
and visiting the Nats in Ballarat, looking at all the xw's, I knew I had to
get one, and when this one came up for sale, it took about 3 seconds for me
to make my mind up.
My reefer has been looked after meticulously by previous owners
having had new paint, engine rebuild, diff rebuild, top loader rebuild and
has travelled a small 5000 miles in the past 7 years.
Currently in storage for my trips back to Australia as I work
overseas.... fuel at $4.00 a litre in Hong Kong means I wouldn't bring it
out here, but I wouldn't want to have the hassles of running it with the traffic
the way it is here.
Nothing makes me smile more, than seeing "thumbs up" everywhere
you go in a GT. But it makes me cry not being in Australia to drive it.
