My XB GT Pictures
This page will contain all the various pictures I accumulate of my car. Both from reconditioning things, to pics from car shows and club runs.
These images are an indication of how the car was when I picked it up. I took these images the second time I went to see the car. Notice the rear paint scheme is all wrong. The tow bar and the reversing light (which is a loungeroom downlight) are gone. Also notice the GT351 decals on both the side and rear of the car have been painted Gold to match the honeycomb on the rear. Both front and rear bumpers are painted the highligh colour which is also incorrect.
Here we have a few images from my first outings with the car. The first pic is from my first club run with it. This run was to Palm Beach and was with the NSW GT Owners club. The second pic is from an outing with two friends that live near me. This was just a spur of the moment drive. Notice the alarm lock on the front guard just in front of the GT351 decal. Also notice the Highlight paint continues over the front lip of the bonnet which is incorrect. This has yet to be changed.
The three images above serve to illustrate the changes that have been made to the exterior. I have had the car painted to reflect the correct colour scheme Ford would have produced this car in. The Alarm lock is gone, the GT351 decals are back to how they should be as are the bumpers and the Honeycomb at the rear is back to black. Also note there has been a change of wheels with a set of globes added. This is pretty much how the car looks today.

The two pictures above were taken on the same weekend. This was the weekend of the Hardtop Revenge, as part of the Bathurt pre race entertainment. The first picture was taken on my uncle's farm and the second was taken the day after the race on our way home.
