I have removed the Value tracking feature from the website. I have decided that this is not the primary function of this website. I have replaced the menu option for value tracking with a "Submit a Pic" option for uploading photos.

I have completed the file upload process. It is now possible to upload .jpg files that are below 250kb and smaller than 1024 x 768 pixels. Enjoy.

In addition to the guest book I have also created a Contact Us page that allows visitors to easily email suggestions and feedback through without having to leave the site and open up their email client. You will also notice the main menu on the left of every page has now changed. I have added several new options including Value Tracking, Wallpapers and Contact Us. Hopefully having these areas of the site accessible from this menu instead of buried within the site will make them easier to find.

I hope to develop a picture submission form to enable visitors to submit pictures of their cars for display much easier. At the moment you have to email directly using an email client to achieve this. Stay tuned.

I have recently added a guestbook to the site. I hope to add further features to the site in the near future. In the mean time if you enjoyed your stay here please sign the book. The guestbook is located at the bottom of each page. Simply click on the open book to leave a message.

Its been a while since I have updated this site. Mostly because my GT suffered an engine fire due to the Fuel filter splitting. This fire destroyed everything around the carby on top of the engine. Luckily I got to the car quickly and extinguished the flames minimizing the damage. Since then I have not had a lot of time and money to throw at it so the car has been sitting in the garage for around 6 months.

This has meant that I have not been on any GT runs with the clubs I am a part of and thus have not been taking photos. Hence nothing to update. Hopefully soon I will be back on the road again and will be able to continue bringing photographic evidence that these beasts still live on the roads from time to time.

Another large update to the site. This time I have enlarged the space available for posting images so the images from now on should be larger and easier to see. This will have some impact on monthly bandwidth but if I hit any problems I will deal with them as they arise. Also, the Your Rides section of the site has received an update. With more cars being added to this section it was becoming apparent that over time I would end up with an endless list of cars scrolling down the page which looks untidy and slows page loading. So to remedy the situation I have separated all the models so that each model has its own section. This also allowed me to write a brief description for each model and allows you the reader to choose what model you are interested in. Let me know what you think of the new format.

Fairly large update to website. Introduced some new features to the site. Firstly I introduced a section for the site dedicated to your car. If you have some pics you want to send in of your pride and joy that's the place for you. Find that HERE. Secondly I started another section on the site aimed at all those who travel to shows and events and would like to show Aus and NZ the photos from these trips. Find that HERE.

Hopefully both sections of the site can gain support from the GT faithful and remain a part of the site in the longer term. The "Your Rides" section has received a good response in its first few days on the site. The nature of "On The Road" may mean this will take off more slowly due to the number of photos taken at some events and the hindrance of sending them through email.

See you on the roads

Well the websites first year has come to an end. The year has been extremely busy for myself and my family. Just some of what has happened this year includes, the birth of my first child, the sale of our home along with moving house, a complete change of career after a serious injury, purchasing our XBGT Hardtop to name just a few of the highlights. This website fits in as a hobby of mine that has arose from my purchase of the GT. I noticed whilst doing the research for the purchase a distinct lack of photographs online of GT's. Sure there were some good websites out there. But nothing that really focused on the pictures of the cars alone. I decided to create such a website as an outlet for all the photographs I knew I'd be taking along the way but also as a resource to others who may be out there doing the same research I did prior to handing over the cash.

I've had a fantastic time this year getting out on the road and I have met quite a lot of people through the clubs. I may not remember everyone's name but its great to be part of such a great community. As for the site its coming along steadily. It has grown larger than I had originally anticipated with upwards of 4600 individual visitors for the year and just shy of 5 gig worth of data accessed. I hope the site continues to grow in future and I've also started a section for " your rides " so you can all display your cars for free. I'd like to take this opportunity here to thank some people who have made my first GT owning year both easier and more memorable. So here goes.

Thanks go to

My Wife of course for being so agreeable (after a month or so) to my sudden announcement that I wanted to spend thousands of dollars on a near 30 year old car. Not to mention financing many of the small and large repairs that drain so much money from the coffers.

Cohen for being such a great little baby and not chucking a fit on those long drives to and from meeting points. He has had to put up with a lot of delayed feeds and late arrivals home from long trips away. Good on ya Son.

Warren D for volunteering his time to come out with me ( a stranger at the time ) to check out the car I eventually bought and to give his honest opinion.

Big Pete for putting in his time and effort for free to create the template for my website. I think he hit the nail right on the head with the design.

Mark B for his mechanical efforts put forward free of charge when needed. He aint a mechanic but I can trust him to get the job done right.

All those who read and answered my many questions on several forums this year regarding the purchase, operation and maintenance of the old girl.

All those who support this site and keep my interest and enthusiasm going by visiting the site and sending in emails. Its very much appreciated.

I think that's about it for summing up the year that was. See you all on the roads and at the shows in 2006.
